I would like to introduce Eco-fund. This is name of stock which improves our environment. Our environment situation is serious as you know. We need to improve it by method of something like the eco-fund. Also, we will be able to install Environmental Tax. That is to say, government gathers money for environment from public people and government take places some method which improves our environment.

However, Environmental tax is not enough to improve our serious environment and it is difficult for government to take place the tax because actually people don’t want to pay money for environment. So company has to save our environment because they often pollute our environment. Their ways are two kinds which I know. One is Emission trading. This is a good way to reduce surplus emission or CO2 which they want to use because they can optimize amount of them which they want to use. This is popular way.

Another way is using Eco-fund. This is kind of stock which can gather money that will be able to use for our environment. Especially, Japanese government’s trust is weak. People want to invest for good company rather than government. This is also the reason why people don’t want to pay environmental tax. Emission trading is for optimization but eco-fund can increase capital.

Concretely, there is a lot of way to use eco-fund. This fund is able to be changed by temperature, precipitation rate, the situation of forest, sea and so on. Professional who concern the stock use particular formula for eco-fund and the calculation is very complicated. You will guess it will be changed by economic situation if it is normal stock but this is different from normal stock. Company which want to be admired as SRI (social responsibility investment) like

to use eco-fund. The reason is that if they improve some environment, they will get money from stockholders.

In conclusion, improving environment has been business for company. I think volunteer is also nice but we need to improve environment by all over the people. Even if some company which have nothing to do with environment problems like Space industry or Computer industry and something like that, they can pay money for buying these eco-funds and they can contribute to environment indirectly. Also if the company which sell eco-fund get good result about their own environmental business, some companies which have nothing to do with environment problem will get some dividends because they have eco-fund as the right to be given dividends. So this is not just donation. They will be able to get a possibility to get unexpectedly money. I think this is a good point of eco-fund.
