College goals
College goals (Zero)
Last month, when I started attending Monroe College, I was very glad about this opportunity because my dream had been to go to a graduate college. This was simply because I was a freshman of a Japanese University four years ago. However, this opportunity was far beyond my expectation because it took a lot more money. I still need to pay a lot of money in the future. If I had gone to go to a Japanese Graduate College, I would not have to spend so much money. I was very glad about Monroe College, but on the other hand, I’m disappointed that is cost so much.
I have three goals that I want to accomplish by the end of this semester. One is to make some good friends. Especially, because they are foreign friends. I have already made some good foreign friends that I have never seen before. It took me a long time and, a lot of physical strength. The reason why I want to make foreign friend, is because I want to enhance my English ability. This will be one good own reason that I’m willing to spend a lot of money for this college.
Secondly, I want to save money and understand how to use money. My major is finance. This major involves the studying managing and make good financial decisions. I think it is important for me to know about it. I believe studying finance will be a lot of very fun. And also, I enjoy saving money because American merchandise like food’s material is very cheaper than Japan, especially, meat. However, I enjoy other things about American other than finance like their culture and people. This is a good reason why I wanted to study here.
Finally, I want to develop my mind, health, and so on. I always think these are more important matters, because. I became ill while study in a foreign high school. It was so serious that I was unable to attend classes for two months. After that, I became conscious about my mind. The way I solves my mental problem is by write a diary, I guess. When I was very confused and almost lost myself, I wrote a diary to take myself back to reality.
In conclusion, I want to keep in mind these three goals. After this semester, if I could keep them, I will feel a sense of accomplishment. And I will be able to go the next step in achieving my purpose.
