To live in Japan and America (Between Two Worlds)
This experience is the time I stayed with American family two months ago in Idaho states. My dream is to live America. The reason is that I always watched American TV in my Japanese university days. I like American culture and American people’s looking and Language and character and so on.
But I was not going to go America because the tuition and residence fee is very experience. I was going to go Japanese high rank Graduate School. But I lacked English skill at the time of examination of Japanese Graduate School because my environment is all Japanese. And I fault the test and I rethink what I want to do actually. It was not to go to normal Japanese university. So this reason decides me to go study abroad.
The life is awesome in my homestay days because everything is novelty and there were all sorts of surprises awaiting me in the environment. Especially, I’m glad to see American people like an American drama and live with them intimacy. They have green eyes, quite white skin, different hear color and so on. I have been enjoying about this while I stay in America. It was not only American features but also furniture, cars, home, town, way, and so on. Everything is novelty.
Another reason why I decide to come here is that I want to work with foreign people in the future. I always feel boring to stay in Japan because I had lived for 22 years in Japan. TV is most the same as the time I was born. Music and People’s character was also same, I guess.
But I sometimes notice Japanese goodness. That is like car company, TOYOTA, HONDA, SUZUKI and so on. And when I went to hospital in Idaho states, there is one News
Week about tidal wave in Japan. And the periodicals had left on the hospital for long time. I feel American people cherish Japan. It was not only this case but also American teachers and textbooks had sometimes suggested Japanese incident in class room. This is also the reason why I like American people. In conclusion, To live in two culture will be very good for me in the future.
